Intra School Quiz Competition 2019

The quest for knowledge, like everything else of value, is not to be obtained easily. It must be worked for, studied for, thought for, and more than that must be prayed for. To encourage the students to widen their knowledge, Hindustan International School, Guindy organised its First ever Intra School Competition on 31 August 2019.

The Intra School Quiz Competition was graced by the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Apoorv Kumar Arya, Marketing Manager for South Asia for Cambridge English Assessments. The event also saw  esteemed Principals of all the three Campuses- Guindy, Karapakkam and Padur on the dias.

The Event witnessed the Clash of Titans from the three campuses. The Competition comprised of  3 Categories, namely, Junior, Mid-Level and Senior. Each category consisted of 4 participants per Team, per School. Each Category had a face off in three rounds- Innings Round, Visio (Audio-Visual) Round and Fast and Furious (Buzzer)
Round.

It was astounding to witness awareness levels of the Students. The energy levels saw an increase especially in the Fast and Furious Round. The loud cheers for their Schools saw how each of the Students and teachers seated among the audience were truly involved and engaged.

The Competition finally reached its zenith where in the Winning and Runner up Teams were announced.HIS Padur(Conquerors) stood true to their team name and won the First Ever Intra School Quiz Competition with a score of 115 followed by HIS Guindy (Achievers) with a close score of 85.
